BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A mother son duo from Boston have developed a chocolate bar to help marijuana users have a "soft landing."
Alice Stone and her son Eli Stoloff worked together to find a way to have more control when high.
"If you find yourself more high than you want to be we will give you a soft landing," Alice Stone told WBZ's Shari Small.
When Stoloff was in college at Cornell he heard stories of students getting too high and the only advice they were given was to wait for the effects to pass. Stoloff and Stone set out to find a solution to the problem.
The chocolate bar consists of a blend of spices and plants that contain a molecule with the ability to counteract the effects of marijuana.

"I stumbled across this article in a peer reviewed journal of a mouse model study that showed that this naturally occurring molecule counteracted the effect of THC in mouse brains,"
Stone and Stoloff said 80 percent of people they have surveyed said their chocolate has been effective or very effective. Now they are looking for investors.
"We are hoping to launch with a bang because it's not simply that there's nothing else like this on the market, it's that the need is so great," Stone said.
