METHUEN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Methuen Police Department is looking for two people they believe were involved in more than a dozen vehicle break-ins on Friday.

On Friday night, Methuen Police received 15 reports of cars being broken into and rummaged through with items stolen in the area of Bridal Path Lane and Sevoian Drive. One vehicle was stolen, officials said.

Police are reminding residents to:

1. Lock Doors

2. Hide all valuables

3. Don’t keep key FOBs in vehicles

4. Roll up windows

5. Turn car alarms on

"The common denominator in all these calls was the vehicles were unlocked (and key FOB left in them)," Methuen Police wrote on Facebook. "...This mini-crime spree could have been prevented."

Methuen Police is asking anyone with information about the two men to call the department at (978) 983-8698.
