PLYMOUTH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Spring is technically here, but in New England, it's just another day to bundle up.

WBZ's Jim MacKay caught up with Pete walking around the Plymouth Harbor.

"Well it's cold and bizarrely windy from the northeast," said Pete. "It comes in and takes you off your feet."

As we enter the final week of March, the temperatures feel more like winter than spring.

Boston has been hit with high winds and temperatures in the 30s and 40s during its first week of the new season.

"Unfortunately I have to get up [early] and walk a puppy which is pretty cold and unbearable," said Brianna of Plymouth.

There is some warmer weather on the horizon though.

Accuweather forecasts that around Boston things will start to heat up later this week with temperatures reaching 55 degrees on Wednesday. The meteorologists said there is a chance of some rainfall each day until Friday.
