REVERE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police are investigating after a 20-year-old man was shot and killed outside of the Twist and Shake ice cream shop on Revere Beach Boulevard.
The shooting happened shortly after 10:00 p.m. Sunday night. The victim, identified as Yaseen Butt, of Revere, was still conscious when police arrived on the scene. He was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he later died.
Police said the suspected shooter took off on foot from the scene.
Authorities said they are still investigating the "identity and whereabouts of the shooter." According to police, the shooting happened after an "altercation."
