BROCKTON (WBZ-AM) -- A mother is heading to court charged with killing her two children that were stabbed to death in Brockton.
Plymouth District Attorney Tim Cruz said that LarTarsha Sanders,43 was charged with murdering her 5 and 8-year-old sons late Monday afternoon.
"The victims are two brothers ages 5 and 8, we are not identifying them at this time. Police conducted multiple interviews with people connected with the victims," Cruz said.
The children were found on the second floor of a triple-decker on Prospect Street.
Cruz says he believes the boys were stabbed to death by Sanders in the past 48-hours. It is unclear the motive of the murder. Sanders is scheduled to be arraigned in Brockton District Court on Tuesday.
A Brockton City Councilor confirmed to WBZ NewsRadio1030 that members of the council got an automated call from the Mayor's Office about the stabbings earlier during the day.
