Watch: Mayor Walsh Plays School Yard Games

BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Boston City Mayor Marty Walsh took some time outside City Hall to play some school yard games during recess.

It was his way of saying thanks to the volunteers who work with students at play time on National Service Recognition Day.

Showing up at The Curley School wearing a suit and shiney shoes. He may not have been dressed for the playground, but he played four square, dodge ball and even shot a ball into the hoop on his second try.

WBZ NewsRadio1030's Bernice Corpuz reports.
