Windsor, England Gets Ready For Royal Wedding


WINDSOR, ENGLAND (WBZ-AM) –  It's an unbridled celebration of all things British in Windsor, England Friday as they prepare for Saturday’s Royal Wedding with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Thousands are descending on this small town of 32,000. Nearly 150,000 are expected for the festivities.

WBZ NewsRadio1030’s Morning Anchor Josh Binswanger was in Windsor Friday and caught up with 85-year-old Terry Hutt, who was decked in a three-piece Union Jack suit outside of Windsor Castle.

“What I like about Harry is gone now his girlfriend. And she's found him and pulled him in now. That just natural that someone I know done it myself,” Hutt said.

For Chris Brown, Town Crier for The Town of Windsor says he was very happy to be a part of it all.

“As Town Crier it takes you to a whole new level.” Brown said “I am honored to have this role and to be in a very small way a part of what is going to be a very historic day,” he said.
