BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Pepperidge Farm is recalling four varieties of Goldfish Crackers because of the potential presence of Salmonella in the crackers, the company said in a release. They said one of the ingredient suppliers of whey powder used in the crackers notified them about the possible presence of the bacteria.

The four kinds of crackers under voluntary recall are Flavor Blasted Xtra Cheddar, Flavor Blasted Sour Cream & Onion, Goldfish Baked with Whole Grain Xtra Cheddar, and Goldfish Mix Xtra Cheddar + Pretzel. A chart showing all the varieties and packaging was available from the Pepperidge Farm website.

The company warned consumers not to eat the crackers, and to either throw them away or return them to the store for a full refund.

More information can be found on the company's site.
