ANDOVER, Mass. (AP) — Massachusetts State Police say a 19-year-old woman has died in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 495.
The Boston Globe reports Katie Ramirez, of Bradford, died Sunday morning. Police say Ramirez was driving northbound on I-495 in Andover when her vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a wooded median.
Ramirez was rushed to Lawrence General Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash is unclear. An investigation continues.
