Red Sox World Series Duck Boat Parade Set For Wednesday Morning

BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- It’s time to warm up the duck boats, because the World Series parade will roll through Boston Wednesday morning.

The parade will start at 11 a.m. at Fenway Park, and will end at Staniford Street. The parade will start on Landsdowne Street, take a right onto Ipswich Street, hang a left onto Boylston to Tremont, and then turn to Cambridge Street to New Sudbury Street. There will not be a rally at City Hall.

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh urged fans to take public transportation to the festivities. He said there would be extra service available on subway, commuter rail, and bus lines.

Parking restrictions along the route will take effect at midnight Wednesday morning--they can be found in full on the city's website, here.
