PITTSFIELD, Mass. (AP) — A man who acknowledged repeatedly raping a child has been sentenced to prison.
The Republican reports that 49-year-old Steve Trybus, of Pittsfield, was sentenced to up to five years in state prison Tuesday.
He pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including indecent assault and battery, rape and abuse of a child and intimidation of a witness.
Authorities say Trybus sexually assaulted the child multiple times between 2005 and 2008.
He was arrested in April 2017.
