LINCOLN, R.I. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Rhode Island State Police are investigating after a man, from Woonsocket, died after his car crashed in Lincoln.
The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday on Route 146, south of Breakneck Hill Road, according to police.
The man was the only person in the car and was not wearing a seat belt.
His car then "left the roadway and struck a tree," police said. The man later died from his injuries.
The crash is currently under investigation.
