Three People Dead After Rollover Bus Crash Near San Diego

FALLBROOK, Calif. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Three people have died and at least 18 others are injured after a bus crashed and rolled over on a highway northeast of San Diego.

The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. PST on Saturday. North County Fire tweeted that first responders were on scene at a bus rollover on the southbound side of I-15 in Fallbrook, saying "patients have been extricated from the bus. All patients have been transported off scene."

Less than an hour later, North County Fire confirmed three people had died.

The charter-style bus was seen overturned on an embankment on the side of the busy highway.

A total of 10 ambulances responded to the scene.
