The Markey Evolution. In 1961 President John F. Kennedy challenged Americans to “ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country”, ushering in an age of volunteerism. Recently, Senator Ed Markey put out a new political ad where he ended it by saying: “it’s time to start asking, what our country can do for you”. Do you agree with his message here?
