Mandated Flu Vaccine? All Massachusetts students, 6 months and up, are now required to get a flu vaccine by Dec. 31 if they want to attend school or day care unless medically or religiously exempt. The order has been sent out by the Commonwealth's Department of Public Health in order to reduce flu-related illness and the overall impact of respiratory illness during the COVID-19 pandemic.
