Gov. Baker Announces Second Round Of VaxMillions Giveaway Winners

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Baker Administration has announced the second round of winners in the Massachusetts VaxMillions Giveaway.

Donna McNulty of Billerica won the $1 million prize. She is a longtime employee of a small publishing and software company in Billerica. She plans to use the money to support her retirement in December of next year.

McNulty said she got vaccinated to protect herself as well as a friend who is at risk because of health issues.

Dylan Barron of Norwood won the $300,000 college scholarship. He is going into his junior year at Blue Hills Technical School and is studying automotive. He is still exploring what school he will be attending after graduation.

Barron said he got the vaccine to keep himself, friends, family, and anyone he comes in contact with safe.

The next drawing will be on Monday, Aug. 9, and the winner will be announced on Thursday, Aug. 12. Fully-vaccinated Massachusetts residents ages 12 and up are eligible to enter. Click here to find out how to register.
