WooSox Host First “Polar Park Job Fair”

WORCESTER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) – The Worcester Red Sox are looking to add more than 300 crew members to their roster for the upcoming season.

On Saturday the WooSox held their first virtual job fair to recruit part-time seasonal help. The team is looking to fill a wide array of positions from parking attendants and ushers to Polar Park ambassadors. These positions, which pay $14.25 an hour, are intended to help bring the city’s ballpark to life.

“We seek a staff that reflects the best of Worcester,” said club President Dr. Charles A. Steinburg. “We are blessed to have arrived in a diverse, inclusive city whose multiculturalism bursts with civic pride. We hope to have a staff of which our city can be proud.”

Those who did not register for the event prior beforehand can contact the WooSox for questions about job openings. In addition, college students can reach out for information about internship opportunities.
