HINGHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Hingham Police are investigating after an armed robbery in broad daylight on Wednesday.

Police say a man entered the Richdale Food Shops on Lincoln Street at about 2:00 pm, pulled out a handgun, and demanded money from the clerk behind the counter. The suspect is seen in security cam footage wearing a disposable mask, a black jacket, and a New York Yankees hat.

Hingham Police didn't disclose how much was taken out of the till, and didn't report any injuries. A clerk at the store who told WBZ NewsRadio they were there at the time of the robbery was also unsure of the amount taken.
