Second Teen Dies After Serious Car Crash In Randolph

RANDOLPH, Mass. (WBZNewsRadio) - The 18-year-old driver involved in a deadly crash in Randolph has now died.

Makhi Boston was behind the wheel when the car left the roadway just before 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday night. Terry Boston Jr., the younger brother of Makhi was killed in the crash, two other female passengers were hospitalized with unknown injuries. Makhi was flown to a Boston hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Makhi had just graduated from Brockton High School, his younger brother, Terry, was set to start 10th grade in the fall.

In a statement from Brockton Public Schools Superintendent Michael Thomas said the district is now offering counseling and emotional support today between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at Brockton High School.

"It is difficult to express the profound sense of less felt within our city. These were two young people whose positive influence extended far beyond the walls of our school building. We will come together as a community to support their loves ones and honor their lives." Thomas wrote.

The investigation is ongoing.
