RI State Police Offering $1,000 Reward After Dog Is Stolen From Shelter

EXETER, R.I. (WBZNewsRadio) - Rhode Island State Police and the RISPCA are asking for the public's help after a dog was stolen from the Exeter Animal Shelter. What's more, officials are tossing in a reward of $1,000 for any information leading to the identification of the suspect and the safe return of the pup.

Troopers were called to the animal shelter back on July 19th, for reports of a break in. When they arrived, officials realized a dog had been taken from the shelter.

The female pit bull is described as grey and brown.
