BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Three of the four teenagers charged in connection to an attack on a musician outside of South Station in June were arraigned on assault and theft charges during a court appearance on Tuesday, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office.

The three teens, a 15-year-old and 16-year-old from Allston and a 16-year-old from South Boston, appeared in Boston Juvenile Court and were released to their parents on the condition they stay away from the victim and South Station. They will also face a daily curfew from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

All four of the teenagers are facing charges of assault and battery and larceny under $1,200. The three teens will be back in court on Aug. 30, while the fourth teen, a 16-year-old from South Boston, will be arraigned on Aug. 2.

The charges all stem from an incident when four teens jumped out of a car near South Station just before midnight on June 23 and attacked Adam Neufell, the drummer of rock band Young Other. Neufell was visiting Boston with his girlfriend at the time and was hospitalized with a concussion, broken nose, and other injuries.

In a statement, Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden thanked a witness who filmed the incident as they were driving past South Station for helping in the investigation.

“This was a vicious, unprovoked attack on a young man who was doing nothing more than enjoying a pleasant summer evening in Boston with his girlfriend," Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden said in a statement. "Instead he ended up beaten and hospitalized after an outburst of teenage violence. I’m deeply grateful to the witness who provided evidence that helped police identify his attackers."

Neufell attended the arraignment with his family. The identities of the suspects have not been released because they are juveniles.
