BILLERICA, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — On Saturday morning, the Billerica Police Department sent officers to respond to reports of a single-vehicle crash that happened near 41 Boston Road, only to find that the driver was suffering from multiple apparent stab wounds. The other passengers had injuries consistent with a car accident

Officials say the vehicle sideswiped a telephone pole off the main road, which brought down multiple live wires. In total there were four passengers inside, all of whom were transported to the hospital for varying non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe an altercation between the occupants may have ultimately caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle and crash.
