BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Patriots rookie Chase Winovich went back to his hometown of South Hills, Pennsylvania to give back to his community last week.

The 24-year-old defensive end and Thomas Jefferson High School alum paid off free and reduced lunch debt for all students in the West Jefferson Hills School District, the district said in a Facebook post Friday.

"Growing up in TJ, the community has always been so important to me," Winovich told the school district. "It’s great to be able to give back during the holidays!"
