City Councilor Organizes Boston Coloring Book For Kids

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Boston city councilor is looking to help local artists while creating something for children to do.

The coronavirus pandemic has put many artistic endeavors on pause. Now, City Councilor Matt O’Malley has an idea.

“We’re asking artists to submit drawings of Boston landmarks or Boston individuals or anything Boston related that can be colored in,” O’Malley said. “And then we’re going to compile an online digital coloring book.”

O’Malley hopes the online coloring book will be available on his website in about a week.

Parents will be able to print out pages for their kids to color. And for every entry, the O’Malley campaign will donate to the Boston Artist Relief Fund.
