FALMOUTH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) – Massachusetts State Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened in Falmouth Friday night.
Falmouth Police Lieutenant Sean Doyle said crews received a call about a single-car crash around 7:40 p.m. on Ransom Road.

Both Falmouth Police and Fire responded to the scene where they found the female driver of a Lexus SUV seriously injured. She was later pronounced dead at Falmouth Hospital. Another passenger, a male, was uninjured.

Doyle said the road will remained closed while the crash is investigated by State Troopers and Falmouth Police.
