State Police Release Photos Of Framingham Starbucks Robbery Suspect

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Massachusetts State Police have released images of a suspect who robbed a Starbucks drive-thru at gunpoint Thursday, as well as an image of his getaway vehicle.

The robbery happened around 6 a.m. at the Starbucks in the Framingham Rest Area on Route 90 Westbound.

State Police said the suspect came in through an employee door holding a small pistol, pointing it at two workers and ordering one to open a safe.

The suspect wore a black coat and black pants, black boots, a black ski mask, and black latex gloves. Police said he has an average build, is between 5'5" and 5'8", around 160 pounds. Only his eyes were visible, but police said the skin around them was "tan in appearance."

He fled on foot with loose and bundled bills, then got into a small black SUV that was parked behind the rest area on Audrea Road. He was seen driving north toward Brook Street.

Investigators are asking the public to contact State Police if they recognize anything in the images or have any information about the suspect or the robbery.

State Police believe a person matching the suspect's description was seen outside the same Starbucks around the same time of day on Tuesday.
