BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Thursday is the last day for residents to register for the first drawing in the Massachusetts VaxMillions Giveaway.
Fully-vaccinated residents have the chance to win one of five $1 million prizes. Residents ages 12-17 can win one of five $300,000 scholarship grants.
The lottery is aimed at encouraging residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Massachusetts residents have to have received two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or one dose of them Johnson & Johnson vaccine at any time before or during the promotion period.
Also, residents have to have gotten their full vaccination in Massachusetts. However, if you are a veteran, you can get your vaccine at a VA hospital or a VA clinic.
