BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Jon Hamm is filming a reboot of the 80's movie, "Fletch," starting Monday.

The "Mad Men" actor confirmed he would be filming the movie in Boston on Friday, on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

The original film starred Chevy Chase as Irwin M. Fletcher, an investigative reporter who gets wrapped up in a scheme to kill a business executive.

"It's an 80's staple and we're going to sort of reboot it and update it for the 2000's," he said on the show.

He'll be starring in the movie, which will also feature one of his "Mad Men" co-stars John Slattery.

Director Greg Mottola confirmed that the movie was happening on Friday and said it would be titled "Confess, Fletch."
