DEDHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Jordan’s Furniture and the Red Sox joined forces to grow the sport of baseball.

On Monday, Jordan’s Furniture launched its 2024 Double Play Youth Baseball Donation Program, collecting like-new baseball and softball equipment for underserved communities. They will give the donated equipment to the Red Sox Foundation’s Reviving Baseball and Softball in Inner-Cities (RBI) Program, making baseball more accessible to players and coaches.

“We have been running our youth baseball donation program for over 12 years now because we know that the equipment gets directly in the hands of kids who need it. And the need does not end at the close of each season,” said Eliot Tatelman, President of Jordan’s Furniture.

Until April 7, every Jordan’s Furniture in New England will be accepting donations, including their Taunton Distribution Center. They will accept cleats (metal and plastic), baseballs (new), softballs (new), bats (metal only), catcher’s equipment, and gloves.
