MANCHESTER, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A man is dead after his car crashed into a tree and burst into flames early Tuesday morning.
Manchester, New Hampshire Police said the crash happened around 3:30 a.m. near Lake Shore Road and Island Road. They said they arrived to find a Chevy Cobalt on fire against a tree.
"Once the fire was put out, a deceased male was found inside," the department wrote on their Facebook page. "His identity is not being released at this time, as police work to notify next of kin."
Police said the driver appeared to have been going south on Lake Shore Road when they veered off, but the cause of the crash was not yet known.
