Medical Professionals Inform And Dance On TikTok

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The video sharing platform TikTok has become a source of comfort, humor, and information during the coronavirus crisis. Users stuck indoors have started posting videos of themselves cooking and learning TikTok dances. Medical professionals, who are suffering from a lack of protective equipment and even harassment on the street, have taken to the app as well.

There is a shortage of medical supplies across the country, and medical institutions such as Cambridge Health Alliance and Brigham and Women's Hospital are asking for donations. Local craft store, Gather Here, produced a face mask tutorial, along with a step-by-step guide that you can make at home.
