New England Sports Rank High On The Most Expensive Stadiums In The U.S.

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Attention all sports fans: there is a chance you could be back in sports stadiums in a matter of months.

As coronavirus guidelines change, many stadiums are preparing to open their doors back up to the public in 2021.

However, the cost to watch a game in-person is not cheap—especially for New Englanders.

TN Bets analyzed the cost to attend a game at all major sports leagues; the MLB, NFL, NBA and NFL as a way to determine the most expensive stadiums to watch a game in 2021. You can access their full report here.

The rankings were measured based on the cost of one general admission ticket, two beers, a hot dog and the cost of parking.

Here's is where New England sports stand based on their results:

The Red Sox ranked 2nd in MLB with an average price of $96.62 to attend the game.

The Bruins ranked 2nd in the NHL with an average price of $162.36 to attend the game.

The Celtics ranked 4th in the NBA with an average price of $167.16 to attend the game.

The Patriots ranked 8th in the NFL with an average price of $185.70 to attend the game.

The Red Sox have the most expensive average price for a baseball ticket at $60.09.

The Bruins have the most expensive parking ticket in the NHL on average at $29 to park.

All four New England professional sports teams ticket price ranked above the league average.
