BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — As everyone prepares for Tropical Storm Isaias during an active hurricane season, the Red Cross is asking for assistance.
"We always say there are three things you can do to help the Red Cross: you can donate time, blood, or money, and all are welcome," Kelly Isner, who works with the Red Cross, said.
All three are needed as Tropical Storm Isaias bears down on the East coast.
"We are looking for volunteers who are willing to become trained running the shelter and working at a shelter, and also in the health services field, but really there is a wide range of things you can do," Isner said.
