SOMERVILLE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) – A selfie-lover’s paradise at Assembly Row in Somerville provides dozens of fun backdrops for an enhanced social media experience.

Selfie Wrld was started by three young people from Massachusetts who had so much fun taking their own selfies, they decided to create a space for others to bask in the glory.

People can take pictures in 25 different rooms as well as channel their inner child in the ball pit. The Fresh Prince of Boston room is one of the most popular, complete with a red and gold throne and Boston-themed graffiti.

“We called up a couple of local artists,” said Daniella Martinez of Charlestown, who runs the space with her partners Emile Barbosa and Jerome Wilson. “They over-delivered.”

The trio bought the franchise in September and has worked to keep people smiling ever since. So far the group has had a positive experience.

“[It’s a] surreal feeling,” Wilson said. “Everyone coming in and seeing what we’ve built for them. They love it so it’s great to see.”

Tickets are available on Selfie Wrld’s website as well as gift cards and photographer packages. People can also book private events. All in all, Martinez has one goal in mind for her customers.

“We just want you to come out of here with great pictures.”
