BARNSTABLE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Two people were hurt, one with life-threatening injuries, after a serious car crash in Marstons Mills, Barnstable Saturday night.

Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire Captain Brian Morrisson said that emergency crews responded to Lovell's Lane to find one car on its side in the middle of the road. The rolled-over vehicle was the only one involved in the crash.

The driver of the vehicle was pinned underneath the car, and according to Morrisson, an off-duty Barnstable Police Officer and a group of passersby hoisted the car and were able to free the driver. Both occupants were transported to Cape Cod Hospital, with one being moved to a Boston hospital later.
