St. Patrick's Day Meal For Swampscott Seniors

SWAMPSCOTT, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Seniors in Swampscott received a special Saint Patrick’s Day meal Wednesday.

The Swampscott Senior Center hosted a parking lot celebration where seniors could drive through and receive a free, St. Patrick’s Day themed, meal.

The senior center employees handed out 150 corned beef and cabbage meals, thanks to the donation from Peabody Properties.

“These events just bring the community back together,” Gina Bush, the Acting Director and Outreach Coordinator of the Swampscott Senior Center said.
