CHELSEA, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A 16-year-old student was arrested for carrying a loaded 9mm firearm into Phoenix Charter Academy Chelsea Thursday.
Chelsea police said the student was disarmed without incident by a school administrator and arrested around 2:30 p.m.
According to police, no direct threats were made towards students, staff, or teachers.
An investigation is ongoing.
