Suspect Arrested After Fatal Stabbing In Roxbury

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal stabbing that happened early Friday morning in Roxbury.

According to BPD, shortly before 7:30 a.m. officers responded to a call for a person stabbed in the area of 112 Southampton Street in Roxbury, near the Boston Medical Center on Mass Ave.

When they arrived, officers located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent stab wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

BPD said a suspect has been placed in custody and is charged with Murder, and the details regarding the identification of the suspect will be released when available.
