Vermin Supreme Blocks Buttigieg's Car In NH

CONCORD, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Candidates crisscrossed the Granite State Wednesday, making their cases to voters ahead of next week's first-in-the-nation New Hampshire Primary—but not to be missed was the "drama" between political prankster Vermin Supreme and South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

Buttigieg was leaving the NH Youth Climate and Clean Energy Town Hall in Concord when the boot-headed performance artist, activist, and perennial candidate stepped in front of his SUV and shouted, "Mayor Pete, come out and debate me!"

WBZ NewsRadio's Madison Rogers covered the climate town hall, and snapped a photo of the scene:

If you're not familiar with Vermin Supreme, he's a satirical candidate known for wearing a boot as a hat, promising a free pony for every American, wanting to raise awareness of time travel and zombie apocalypse preparedness, and campaigning for mandatory tooth-brushing.

In a video posted by Fox News reporter Rob DiRienzo, Vermin Supreme and supporters can be heard chanting "Boot Head Head!" at Buttigieg as others try to move Supreme out of the way.

At the event, Buttigieg answered questions from students about his environmental policy proposals, including his plans to reverse so many Trump executive orders on the environment on his first day in office that his hands will be sore.

In another video posted by DiRienzo, Vermin Supreme offered his own climate change proposal.

"My answer to the climate crisis is, has, and always will be weather domes!" he said.
