CHELSEA, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A car struck and killed a woman in Chelsea Friday night, authorities said.
Chelsea Police said the crash happened around 7:15 p.m. near 240 Second St.
Officers responded to the scene and began giving aid to the woman, but she died of her injuries, police said.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
The victim's name is being withheld until her family can be notified, officials said.
Chelsea Police and Massachusetts State Police are investigating the incident.
