BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Woodstock 50 concert, which had been set for the 50th anniversary of the original 1969 festival, has been called off.

TMZ reports the festival was officially cancelled two weeks before its scheduled start date due to financial and venue disputes.

Originally set to take place at Watkins Glen in New York, the festival had recently tried to move to a much smaller venue, Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland.

Artists such as Jay-Z, Miley Cyrus, The Black Keys, The Killers, and more—along with a few who were there 50 years ago, like John Fogerty and Carlos Santana—were set to perform. Jay-Z and Fogerty pulled out last week.
