A "Dam" Big Fight in Ipswich… There is an ongoing dispute in Ipswich, MA over a proposal to remove a centuries-old dam in the center of town. Lawn signs reading “Save Our Dam” and “Free The River” have spread across the town of 13,000 people. Eric Krathwohl of the Save Our Dam community group and Neil Shea of the Ipswich River Watershed Association come on NightSide to debate this issue.
Rare But Serious. An article in the New York Times written by science and global health reporter Apoorva Mandavilli, questions whether Covid-19 vaccines have caused some people harm. Of the millions of Americans who received a Covid vaccine, 13k have filed vaccine injury compensation claims with the federal government. Furthermore, a majority of those who claim they experienced serious side effects have been met with disbelief and ambivalence. Apoorva Mandavilli joins us to discuss.
